What this means is that you already have your own website or blog about whatever topic you wish. You then go out and find advertisers who would be willing to pay you in order to get their ads on your website. This means of course that you are going to need to be generating enough online traffic to your website in order to draw the eye of those advertisers who might want to work with you. Some of them are only interested in paying you based on the number of hits coming into your site. In any case, you would still be in charge what goes on your website or blog, but now you would be paid for allowing some ads on your site.
